Vancouver City Councilor Sarah Fox is proud to announce a recent endorsement from LIUNA, the Laborers Union Local 335. Seeking re-election, Councilor Fox will appear on the ballot in the General Election this November.
The endorsement comes from Councilor Fox’s proven track record of favoring economic development endeavors that aid in the recruitment and retention of family-wage jobs within the City of Vancouver. Impressed by her commitment to the trades through her regular engagement at career fairs, LIUNA cited Councilor Fox’s assistance in promoting industry career opportunities as a primary determinant for endorsement. Lastly, LIUNA noted appreciation for her nearly two decades of union membership and six years of service as a union president, further solidifying her long-standing support of union workers for almost twenty years.
After receiving news of the endorsement, Councilor Fox stated:
“The dedicated members of LIUNA Local 335 are the heart and soul of our region, working tirelessly day-in and day-out to keep our city’s industries thriving and economy robust. The endorsement is not just a show of support for my re-election, but a testament to our shared vision of uplifting workers and their families by advocating for fair wages and a safe working environment.”
